Fellow greens! We want to invite you to attend this one hour event, hosted by the KY Green Party and its Steering Committee. What do we want to cover?
* Provide you, Kentucky Greens, with a quick overview of presidential candidates. Talk about the timeline until the November election.
* Provide you with information on how you, a registered Kentucky Green, can participate in a statewide vote for the national Green Party presidential candidate.
* Introduce the Kentucky delegates to the Presidential Nominating Convention, hosted by GPUS on July 9th – 12th.
* Ask you to consider volunteering for signature collections to gain ballot access for November election.
* Introduce campaign(s) for Hawkins / Hunter / Rolde. If campaigns are able to attend, we’d like to provide equal time to each (maybe 10-20 min), to address issues and what their campaign focuses on.
* In August, we plan to have another KYGP meeting during which we hope to fill vacant/vacated Steering Committee positions. If you’d like to express your interest, please let us know and get in touch with us.
* At the same meeting in August, we will also be voting on a new Co-Chair for the Kentucky Green Party, a two-year term position.
